Senticnel is a tool to help prevent forest fire. It is a wireless alarm system that can predict the path of a growing fire. Sensors, mounted on trees, identify the location of forest fires and alerts via email and SMS to the emergency services shortly after it breaks out. By combining the sensors' real-time data with a fire-growth simulation software, the system also models the path which fire is likely to take, enabling firefighters to reach it faster and address it more effectively.
