The Swiss Bento Box is a reusable snack box made of plastic. It was commissioned by the airline company Swiss to reduce the waste that occurs during daily flight operations from single-use packaging and to lower the resulting environmental pollution caused by air traffic. The box can undergo approximately 100 usage cycles before it needs to be replaced.
