Every year, millions of shoes are thrown away, most of which are still wearable, but not repairable. These issues of shoe overproduction and obsolescence led Julien Chaintreau to design Update Ltd, a shoe that combines the aesthetic and the technique of modern sneakers with the durability of a traditional leather shoe: their specificity is that they can be fully repaired by a cobbler.
